What I realized today as a Sanders supporter:

I try to exercise regularly. Sometimes, I neglect it , though. I am coming off of a year of basically no exericse, and restarting my regimen.

But what occurred to me tonight during my jog, is that even though I am restarting from a relative point of zero, I am actually starting from a point of zero + whatever. That is, my body has a memory, and I am developing towards a point of fitness FASTER than someone who had never exercised before.

IMHO, the lesson for Sanders supporters is, that even though it seems likely he will not be the nominee, isn't it astounding how powerful his left wing message has been, that Hillary hasn't been able to shake him as conveniently as she wanted? Occupy Wall Street DID win, in that they lit the spark that has fired a leftist resurgence in the US. I think that is so awesome.

I find the same is true with meditation. There have been times where I just haven't done it even monthly, much less regularly, and yet, I still have a good meditation.

So, nice analogy. And I hope you manage to get back into your regimen

Occupy certainly lit a fuse. After all the years of drifting ever farther to the right and getting folks like the Clintons labeled as radical leftists and people actually buying it, it has been refreshing to hear some real liberal arguments for a change.
