(4,019 posts)When I was a kid, we had a black cat named Blackie (imagine that). Mom used to vacuum him on one side and then flip him over to do the other side. He loved it.

(20,567 posts)of the sliding glass door and I am vacuuming on the inside - she hisses at the vacuum and lunges at the glass.
If she is inside when I vacuum she runs and hides.
Had another cat who always ran when the vacuum came out. One day she took a stand - walked up to the vacuum and hissed and then walked away.
Wonder what they think it is.
