Pinball or Computer Games?

For those of us over a certain age (including yours truly), computer games just don't hold a candle to Pinball - the rock n roll sport of champions.

But that's just my opinion. Have fun.

Not me, I'm not that old. I have played pinball on some very old 40s machines though. Oddly enough the last time I played "pinball" it was on a play station 3.

Played all the time when I was in high school. Being able to win games was always fun. We could spend a buck and play for a long time by winning games. Knock knock knock!

Peace

I spent a lot of my teens in game rooms. Pinball and foosball.

that was huge the year I spent in Alaska (way too long ago) but never seemed to be big anywhere I went here in AZ. the family got a cheap wooden version when we came home, but I always wanted a real one.

were Grand Championship, Tournament Soccer (TS), and Tornado, and I liked them in that order. The place where I worked for four years had Tornado.

They had some great pinball machines, though.

I would buy a pinball machine. Probably the latest version with lots of bells and whistles.

I couldn't play pinball as it was for 18 and up only. They had it roped off and some high-school kid was the bouncer. I could play all the Galaga and Asteroids and Defender I wanted but pinball was the forbidden fruit. Then one day they saw how dumb that was and let everybody play pinball.

I played a couple games but then went back to Robotron.

I was already video game hooked by then. My buddy loved the pinballs though. He was a damn wizard.

"bingo" type pinball machines are a class 3 gambling device, the same as a poker machine.

the near machine is a bingo, the smaller one in the background is an early single player flipper.
you changed the payout odds on the bingo by playing more credits. object of the game was to score 3 4 or 5 in a row of (usually) one color
