'I feel like throwing up' - Kate Winslet hates Titanic theme song

'I feel like throwing up' - Kate Winslet hates Titanic theme song

Kate Winslet feels "like throwing up" when she hears My Heart will Go On.

The love theme from Winslet's most successful film, Titanic - sung by Celine Dion - was a huge hit around the world, but the actress admits she has to hide her real feelings every time she hears it.

She told MTV News: "I feel like throwing up when I hear it. No, I shouldn't say that. No, actually, I do feel like throwing up."

"I wish I could say, 'Oh listen, everybody! It's the Celine Dion song!' But I don't. I just have to sit there, you know, kind of straight-faced with a massive internal eye roll."

promote the movie. I wasn't going to go see it in 3D anyway, but some people might be thinking about it. If they're anything like me, hearing a star diss their own movie is a turn-off to them. The song is a big part of the movie, you stupid woman.

I don't consider them saps. Some people really love the movie, music and all.

I like it too, and I enjoyed the music (in "Hymn to the Sea" the Irish whistle is beautiful) but I'll skip seeing Titanic in 3D

I don't know why strongly disliking certain movies and certain entertainers (Justin Bieber comes to mind) is considered stylish - the in thing to do. It seems to be uncool to like them.

SO it was a hit worldwide. it was a hit because it was IN the movie. Not because it was the greatest song ever written.

Christopher Plummer will leave if anyone starts singing from The Sound of Music.

Wonder how Tim Curry feels about a few certain tunes?

They are actors. They move on. Their fans should too.

But...Funny how it's one of the most successful movies of all time that everyone now claims they hate.

Certainly seemed to put a screeching halt to Billy Zane's career.

Do NOT play that asshole TOO convincingly.

lol

I liked the movie alright.

And almost immediately one of the more comedy-minded geniuses here replied:

Celine Dion.

Can't say I disagree.

(Wish I could remember who posted the remark.)
