This was in the 1970's. As a kitten, he would play chasing a wool ball. I would bounce the ball off the floor, as hard as I could, and he would pounce and take it on the rebound.

He grew up as an indoor-outdoor cat and spring and the robins came. Max found that he could take robins by the same technique. Poor robins.
