50's era country music reccomendations anyone?

I had been listening to Merle Haggard after he died
I learned his hero was Buck Owens, so I been listening to him, I love him.
Buck's hero was Lefty Frizell , so I been listening to him.
I know about Hank

who are some lesser known country stars of the late 50's early 60'S era,
who are really good, who I should check out?

Love the Louvins. Although I must admit sometimes I love them ironically.

I prefer the rough honky tonk country music which was most popular in the 1940s and 1950s, not so much the Nashville sound that originated during the mid 1950s as a subgenre of American country music or the 1960s Buck Owens and the Bakersfield sound

No doubt about it. Start with his early stuff. He toured constantly, so you will find live albums. Check out the live album recorded at Folsom Prison for the inmates. How many modern singers would perform at a prison?

I'll always have a soft spot for Marty Robbins. He was one of my grandma's favorite singers and I spent many a summer listening to her sing along to his records.

Thursday 6-9 PST. I know they have live streaming, and I think they might archive the shows as well.

Usually, about half of the program is 50s-60s country, and half of it is newer stuff (alt-country, indie, folkgrass, etc. - not much mainstream country radio).
