For the indians-
* Francona
* Coco Crisp
* American League
* Andrew Miller.

For the Cubs-
* 108 years
* Wrigley Field
* Steve Goodman
* Lackey / Leister/ Epstein

Fuck it..l'm going with the Cubs, if I lose and Indians win, I get a free dinner on Friday. So it is a no lose situation!

method of picking the world series champion every year. It was always the team with the fewest ex-Cubs on the roster.

IIRC, it was accurate into the '90s.

Royko is long gone, but I have been wondering how he would evaluate this one? Are current Cubs carriers of the ex-Cub factor?

We will find out soon enough I guess.

One of them just scored Addison Russell also a poster noted a Red Sox coach and former Sox players. Coco Crisp is both an A's and Red Sox player as well as Jon Lester.

It is the end times. Neither of these cursed teams can win. Now it's a rain delay, then it will be extra innings, then the volcanoes and meteor strikes.

Cthulhu is sinking back into the depths, and we can return to our merely horrifying fever-dream of an election.
