However, they are still going strong and writing music now that is often keenly observant and quite profound.

Both of them are way left-of-center politically, and much of their music is quite LBGT-oriented.

This particular song ("The Dictator Decides&quot is from their most recent album. It is based on a relatively obscure Vivaldi choral work, that they adapted, by writing a new melody that runs counterpoint to the original.

Below is a link to "Twenty Something" (from the same 2016 album "Super". This official video was filmed in San Diego earlier this year. It it features the plight of a young poor Latino man attempting to go straight and the enormous hurdles he faces. The video is grim and extremely moving. FYI, the gang you see in this video is real. The rhythm is Brazilian tecno-brega.

Incidentally, this video below is so powerful, that it is well worth watching... regardless of one's taste in music. The last 15 seconds are hard to watch.
