The late, great Phil Seymour on drums.

Big Twilley fan here. What's with the goofy cartoon cut-ins?

For whatever reason, Twilley appeared on a Saturday morning children's show called "Wacko"!

Petty sings backup on it.

Phil Seymour came out with a pretty solid album of his own in 1980. It's actually kind of a cult power pop classic. Shortly after, he died of lymphoma. That sucks. (Lymphoma, I mean. Not Phil's album.)

They were an amazing team. I remember "Baby it's You", but I never realized he was Twilley's band-mate before. I can't imagine anything he did musically sucking.

They met standing in line to see a screening of "A Hard Day's Night" in Tulsa, OK. Two young longhairs in the Bible Belt who discovered they had similar tastes in music. The rest, as they say, is music history.
