Well, O. K. That it's cold and getting colder, 'cause that's a pot & fixings for making Dogs' Soup. No, not *of* dog, but vegetable/beef, with the bones for the lucky dogs afterward. So who's coming over?!1

1. It sounds wonderful, but, unfortunately, I won't be able to accept your gracious invitation.

I have other plans. Over the last few weeks I have been the lucky recipient of some ground beef from an animal my son raised and butchered, some sausage from a hog that a co-worker raised and butchered as well as some ground venison from another co-worker. I've got the rest of the fixings for a humongous pot of chili to share with the guys at work. We're having some really cold weather all week long and this should hit the spot.
