Just got out of Rogue One (Non-Spoiler)

This is the movie I made every afternoon after school, ditching the main characters and staging rebel/stormtrooper fights or space combat missions. You don't need to see Rogue One to understand the other installments or vice-versa, but it's a great addition to the overall Star Wars mythology.

... as someone who who attended the first showing on Thursday.

The theater was full of people my age, people who were present at first Star Wars in 1977 (myself, Westwood, CA, if you must know), and quite a few incorrigible younger cosplay and other strange people. It was a party, almost like a Rocky Horror Picture Show party.

For those who don't know, Rogue One is the very immediate prequel of the original Star Wars. They even CGI resurrected Peter Cushing in his role as Grand Moff Tarkin, commander of the Death Star.

Warning: This is the darkest Star Wars of them all, darker than The Empire Strikes Back.
