Christmas road trip in a shitty year.

Well, fellow Loungers, it's been a truly shitty year.
Just when we thought it couldn't get shittier, it got shittier.
Over and over again.
Ad infinitum.

So, Miz t. and I decided to pack up and leave our nice and warm (degrees F) gulf coast blood red county in an ultra scarlet state and head for warmer (political) climes in Massachusetts.

1500 mile road trip.
Each way.
Yeah, we'll freeze our asses off.
It's worth it to be amongst family and friends and just PEOPLE who didn't support his orangeness.

My guess is worth zip, but here it is anyway:
1. He will be impeached or otherwise deposed within a year
or, if not,
2. His government (and US) will be engaged in a major war.
Maybe Jyna, maybe the middle east.

Whatever.
Merry Christmas (I ain't afraid)

Season's Greetings
Happy...aw shit...I can't even say it.
Bah Humbug.
It's just gonna be a shitty New Year.
meh

Love y'all.
Do the best you can.

if you are east or west of the bay? Through the years we have worked quite a few tent weddings on the Eastern Shore and once you get far enough south from DC, people seem to get nicer.

HAHAHA!

I'm a bit west of the bay, a few miles. NOT a resort area.

The pic here is the Patuxent River, at my front door, looking west.

There are nice people everywhere I've been. Sometimes you have to look very hard for them, though.

A river view works for me.

Watch out for the crazy drivers, they come out for holidays.

We have the same sort of feelings in our household. Christmas cheer, you say, bah, humbug.
