Has anyone watched MI-5 (also known as Spooks in the UK)?

It is an interesting show, I am halfway through Season 8.

Here are my comments:

People used to joke about the red shirt actors on Star Trek. The show kills of characters on a regular basis (through an assortment of means) that it is a miracle that MI-5 has a staff.

Someone on IMBD commented that they didn't like the way the US is portrayed but it is probably reasonably accurate from the British point of view. I have visit the UK several times and have had some interesting conversation with various people over their reaction to the US post Iraq Gulf War I and going forward. I get the way the US is portrayed in the show.

Then there is the backstabbing, i.e. the traitors, the crap different countries pull on one another, and some of the nefarious stunts attempted by other UK Govt agencies (some with Corporate interests), and so on. There are some episodes that I would not want Trump to watch because they might give him ideas.

If you have not watched it, given the times that we live in, it is a decent show that can give you some food for thought. It makes you wonder just what actually takes place within security agencies.
