In fact, sometimes I worry that my writing style might give me away...

I really want to preserve my anonymity. I have no desire to be creative, NONE at all!

I literally sprayed my monitor. That was perfect.

And to answer your question: Of course I do. Hey, if I have to spend time being a yard duty teacher, I'm gonna damn sure have some fun at it.

I have forgotten what I said. When I have time I drone on and on and on with several sentences.

And, I always identify myself.

Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Nobody called anyone a Republican agent provocateur. Merely a breathless, hair-on-fire, shit-stirrer. Hardly worth alerting about.

Not very creative, but I will endeavor to improve.

I don't tend to be long winded, sometimes I don't leave a comment. I don't think it's always necessary.

I usually get an email right about the time I'm logging off, and I usually too tired to think of a good comment by then!

But I never leave it with "no explanation"... I think that's kind of a cop-out.

President Reagan announces plans to get the Marines out of Beirut and onto offshore ships, describing the retreat as "decisive new steps." His spokesman says "We don't consider this as a withdrawal but more of a redeployment." 2/7/1984

"What it this, the six degrees of antagonization? We can't even make reference to anyone who quivers in paroxysms of umbrage at the mere utterance of certain provocative terms of personal pique? Oh, the horror that someone has taken exception to the cloistered confines of your carefully nurtured sense of righteous outrage! Quick, expel this callous ruffian from our midst! Dare not remind us of coarse words for our delicate sensibilities cannot withstand the crushing pressure of candor against the crystal bubble of our quiescence! Oh, the humanity! I'm sorry, I have to sit down."

I almost always leave a comment, but if I happen to be in a foul mood and in front of a proper keyboard...

At Thu Apr 5, 2012, 11:53 PM an alert was sent on the following post:

You should acknowledge why it's happening, though.

REASON FOR ALERT:

This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate. (See Community Standards.)

ALERTER'S COMMENTS:

hate speech

'the plague that is the parasite of the European descended developed world war mongering person'

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Fri Apr 6, 2012, 12:09 AM, and the Jury voted 1-5 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: I do not agree with the poster, think he does verge on hate speach, although not in the quote cited in the alert, but in "How the fuck could anyone "get along" if the very people who have the most privilege on the planet don't recognize it and exploit it to their own ends, because, why not?" If the people with the most privilege don't recognize how can they be exploiting it? I got the feeling this was a feeling addressed to all "white people" DU'ers included, anyway, don't think this is a reason to pull the post. Hope the poster realizes that most white DU'ers are trying hard NOT to exploit our 'advantage', we champion for justice for all.
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: No explanation given
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: My ancestors were parasitic war mongering Europeans, I am a white male, and I approve of joshcryer's statement.
Juror #4 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: Stupid remark, but not "hate speech."
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT and said: No explanation given
Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE and said: NYC_SKP has read this reply, in context, and doesn't see a violation. The topic is very sensitive but it's a very important conversation to pursue. Personally, I think we all need to be careful not to fall into the trap that the PTB love to see us fall into: fighting among ourselves. White people are, generally, privileged, but less so if they're unattractive and obese. We are all different! So why argue about it? Well, because we're entitled to, we need to, we are finding ourselves, so let the discussion carry on!

Thank you very much for participating in our Jury system, and we hope you will be able to participate again in the future.
