when I was in a foster home and my foster parents made me go to church. Homemade mac and cheese, fried chicken, and ribs were awesome. Not awesome enough for me to become religious, but damn close.

I'm still trying to figure it all out.

I'm not trying to be funny--I adore stained glass, and though these probably aren't the real thing, I appreciate the aesthetics of the patterns, rich colors, and artistic expression.

...when I was in 6th grade, the "mean girls" in my grade gave me a note accusing me of being "...a pig with boys and food." That really hurt my feelings...but it was true! Makes me laugh now.

...and kept at it until a very few years ago, when I came to the--accurate--conclusion that Marvel was deliberately trying to alienate their old fans. I was more than willing to accommodate them. But I glory in every moment of my 50-year comics geekdom!
