Dylan vs. Dylan...

My boyfriend and I were listening to the great Bob Dylan and got into a lighthearted debate about which song most accurately represents the world under *45....

What do you think:

"A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall"

https://m.

"The Times They Are A Changing"

https://m.

Tough call, we both decided. Either way, the man is a tragic prophet.

experienced the genius of Bob Dylan for a large part of my life. He is truly a national treasure.

It is a tough call, but for how things are now, I would go with " A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall".

Dylan killed off his folk days persona for 50 years ago. The 60s Dylan for me seems distance and innocent. Sure, he wrote some amazing songs in that period-- But he also wrote amazing songs in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Most people my age (41) would relate more to the mortal 'Not Dark Yet' Dylan.

This opinion was brought to you by a Dylan snob who owns hundreds of bootlegs. haha
