One of my favorite life memories...

My five year old son gut laughing when Mayor Shinn says to his wife:

"Not one poop out of you, Madame!"

Mrs. Shinn: " I think he means "peep"!

We laughed a long, long time.

I needed that today!

When we were kids, my cousin and I were huge fans of Shirley Jones - pre "Partridge Family" days! When I was quite little - too young to remember where it might have been - my parents took my brother and me to see a live performance of "The Music Man." The star was Van Johnson, can still remember him in his drum major uniform with his baton marching up and down the aisles at the end! I've seen the movie countless times since, still remember the words to all the songs!
