Tombstone for a cat -

I've had several bouts of this and that over the years and I can recall many times when a cat was there to provide comfort.

They are a great comfort to me.

very wealthy owner. In that era only a rich person could afford to commemorate the death of a beloved companion animal with an engraved tombstone.

8. I've lost count of the number of pets I've had in my life.

Mostly they were cats and a few dogs. Every place I've ever lived has had a designated place in our yard where beloved pets were laid to rest. Many had no marking but when my last kitty crossed the rainbow bridge, I found a sweet kitty yard ornament to mark his grave. People who have never had a pet have no idea what they've missed in their lives.
