7. I was missin' my electronic pacifiers. A storm knocked out the power for 15 hours.

No heat, running water, coffee, TV or DU.

10. It was too cold for the birds when I woke up at 3. I turned 3 burners on the gas stove to 1/2 way.

Lit a few ( 5 ) large candles and stayed awake until after dawn, making sure all those open flames didn't cause a problem. After I extinguished the candles it was time for a nap.

We need to replace a few small lanterns before the next outage.
