RIP - Dear Judge Wapner...

Well, he was 97 and died of natural causes but still. I loved watching him on The People's Court. He was feisty but he took it seriously and did not tolerate drama. He educated people instead of performing like some of them did on the court shows that came after him.

My favorite episode was a dog bite case where the defendant plead that his dog was sweet and good natured and did NOT bite the plaintiff. He won but the dog BIT the host, Doug Llewellyn, in the lobby of the courtroom! And broke the skin even. Oh my!

RIP Joseph Wapner

I know he's been retired for some time now, and just look at all the reality based courtroom shows that have followed him!

RIP Judge Wapner you were an inspiration to many, and will continue to inspire.
