Daily Holidays - March 4

National Pound Cake Day If you’re looking for a super rich cake, you can’t go far wrong with pound cake. Made up from the standard cake ingredients of butter, eggs, sugar and flour, a pound cake lives up to its name as the equal ratio of all the ingredients means that you end up with quite a thick, heavy cake. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/pound-cake-day/

National Grammar Day Do you know what day it are? Your shore to be surprised when you figure it out, though u may be sad when you saw it. its not bad grammar day, its just Grammar Day! Alright, that’s just about enough of that! Grammar Day was established to promote awareness and understanding of proper grammar, and perhaps just another chance to smack those people who can’t seem to compose a decent sentence right upside the head for being daft. Whether you’re new to reading and writing, or an established user of the written word, the importance of Grammar cannot be understated, especially on Grammar Day! https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/grammar-day/

Toy Soldier Day Although Toy Soldier Day may not be as famous of an occasion as Christmas or Halloween, countless fans of stage persona Dr. Steel celebrate the event each and every year. However, its name is a bit deceiving. As opposed to collecting or displaying plastic toys or replicas, Toy Soldier Day is actually intended to unite fans of various role-playing activities. Ranging from nurses to scouts (and yes, soldiers), one of the primary goals is to collaborate, compare and share costume ideas. Never heard of it? No problem! This is the perfect day to broaden your entertainment horizons a bit and find out new ways to have some fun with life! https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/toy-soldier-day/

Marching Band Day Meant as a day to build awareness around the ‘marching arts’, Marching Band Day is all about those upbeat, often cheerful bands which also happen to be moving around while playing. https://www.daysoftheyear.com/days/marching-band-day/

A conservative estimate would put me at 500 miles while a more liberal one is at 1,000 miles. Special maneuvers include double-time, marching through six inches of water, and evading the horse shit in the county parades. With two high schools in my county and the parade route alternating between the two largest towns I could always count on navigating the obstacle course at the tail (get it?) end of a parade on a biennial basis.
