but I use Avast antivirus and it decided to "reset" my something or other and changed my homepage to Yahoonews, which I avoid like the plague and one reason I don't use their email service. My computer has been acting weird for a couple weeks, and often when or after being on this site.

The storm might explain why the Interwebs are slow today.

I have to clear the cache, etc. constantly. Go to Tools ---> OPTIONS ---> PRIVACY ---> REMOVE INDIVIDUAL COOKIES (select all of them) ---> CLEAR YOUR RECENT HISTORY & hopefully proceed.

Lots of crap out there.

Also use for anti-virus, Malwarebytes free ed. and SUPERAntiSpyWare free ed. as well.

Doing all of the above (PC) keeps me up and running for the most part and yes, still using Windows XP Pro!

ro clear cache, history and cookies as I leave the web/close browser, then I do disk cleanup after each session. Been doing that forever. Still have to conduct a "restore to earlier date" about once every six months.

I've been able to access Yahoo emails pretty much all day.

Maybe it's a local outage.

And hopefully temporary.

Luckily it still works on my iPhone and iPad.

There must be some difference between the app
and the browser program.

I wonder what it is.
