Only 2 more episodes after tonight.
The Saviors pay an unexpected visit to the Hilltop, catching everyone by surprise. This time, they're planning on taking more than just supplies.

(56,828 posts)seems like the big war with Negan will take all of season 8, which i can believe.
Goblinmonger
(22,340 posts)That would be awesome.
I love Negan. He's one of my favorite comic villains.
NewJeffCT

(56,828 posts)training the hilltoppers. Maggie's baby seems healthy

(46,682 posts)I never did understand that, unless they're planning to put them shoulder to shoulder.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)likely there to keep herds away - a large scale version of the two Michonne had chained up

(56,828 posts)Maggie and Daryl scramble to hide, Rosita and Sasha escape under the tunnel.

(46,682 posts)Maggie and Daryl have their face to face. All is forgiven. Big hugs, but Daryl still looks like he feels guilty.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)but, that doesn't mean Daryl forgives himself.
Baitball Blogger
(46,682 posts)Sasha had a death wish. Who was the dark figure that Rosita saw? Looked like Jesus? Maybe Daryl?
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)I think it may be Dwight
Baitball Blogger
(46,682 posts)Do you suppose it's payback for Abraham and Glenn?
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)or, do you mean TV ratings?
I think Glenn & Abraham is part of the reason.
I also think showrunner Scott Gimple is not great at running storylines - too many episodes focused on just a small group or two instead of almost everybody. If you compare to Game of Thrones, they give you most of the main characters every episode, and maybe just one main storyline is dropped each week. The Walking Dead does the opposite - a lot of episodes drop most of the characters except one or two storylines. Last night's episode did not feature Rick, Michonne, Carol, Morgan, Carl, Aaron and others. I'd rather they give us 5-10 minutes of each story/location each week than 30 minutes each on two storylines.

Goblinmonger
(22,340 posts)Believe that was his crossbow over his shoulder. Plus last we saw them he asked Jesus where they were.
Baitball Blogger
(46,682 posts)If he didn't, that could be Dwight. Dwight could turn out to be a great ally at this time.

(90,758 posts)My goodness but Jesus is beautiful. Which has absolutely nothing to do with the show.
Maggie needs to hurry up and hang Gregory already.
Morgan needs to make up his mind. I think that's who Rosita sees probably....or Daryl and Jesus. I dunno.
Carol and the King will be an item soon. (Carol King....hehehe) Silly me.
I'm tired of Negan.
The trash heap people are more than a little odd. Especially their leader.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)a lot of people have speculated that she was going to die because she has an important role in the new star trek TV show.
Solly Mack
(90,758 posts)I was hoping she'd do both.

(46,682 posts)Great show and he's getting great exposure.

(46,682 posts)It was about as kind a send off as you get in WD. But I agree with you. So many have gone that could have helped rebuild. Sasha is one of them.
The teaser on Talking Dead shows Gregory holding a knife while Maggie is on the ground gardening. So, we might dispense with him on the next show. I hate to think that he might injure Maggie, but, if he does, that would be the catalyst to make a hasty run for the doctor at Negan's camp. That would be good news for Sasha because she'll need some rescuing.
