The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsSamsung did an unwanted software update in the middle of the night.
I hate that they do that.
Instructions that I couldn't decifer came and went.
Question: How,to get split screen when watching YouTube? I used to do that via the lower left button. Now it said touch title, but I don't know what that means.
Anybody having this issue?

(12,132 posts)my wife got it it on her S7 Edge but not me yet
I press and hold the Recent button (the one you were talking about) and everything I have read on Android 7.0 (Nougat) says you still do that. did you get some other update? I'll experiment when I get home and can see my wife's phone.

(9,110 posts)In the middle of the night it just updated after I had rejected earlier requests to update.
Holding the 'recent' button no longer works. When I looked at the phone this morning I had new wallpaper and instructions to a different way to do split screen briefly appeared and disappeared. Something about the "title". I can't do it.
My desire is to listen to a an album or podcast on youtube while still being able to do tasks via split screen. I can't find that "title" thingy anywhere.

(9,110 posts)I searched in the phone settings and split screen brought up two options. The "recent" button was not checked so it wouldn't work. I tried searching before and it didn't come up.
At least that part is fixed.

(9,110 posts)You have to go in settings in a couple of places I think. Play Store settings and settings in the phone and search auto update. A switch option should pop up.
