(31,513 posts)pretty regularly. One of the little boys was a real pistol and always getting into things.
One day after they had left, my sister, about 5 years old, came to my mother and said "Doesn't Tommy have a funny middle name?". She thought for a minute and said that she didn't know his middle name. My sister says "Isn't it Dammit? "
He has been known as "Tommy Dammit" in all our childhood tales.

(6 posts)I chose middle names for the same reason. David Daniel somehow got shortened to David Dammit. He's 47, and it still works.

(905 posts)but our alcoholic father always called her, "Jesus Christ Prudy!" She has been dead since 2009 and to this day it is our favorite thing to yell.

(31,380 posts)I am really late doing taxes this year. Usually finished by my birthday in March (over 2 weeks ago)
and part of my problem is I know we're going to end up paying. I sure would like to come up
with some more big deductions...anybody have a kitty I could borrow?

(15,805 posts)Light breading is Billy Idol's song "white wedding" which based on his voice style you could easily mistake the words for.
The van is a Scooby Doo cartoon look alike. Tag line for all the criminals on that cartoon is that they'd have gotten away with the crime if it weren't for those meddling kids.

(28,394 posts)I never heard of either one of those. I've heard of Billy Idol and Scooby Doo, but didn't get the subtleties! LOL

On the other hand, as a parent, it's like counting to ten before you say something you might regret.
