A couple weeks ago, I needed one of those disposable aluminum baking pans. While at the grocery store I looked, and the size I needed was $7.49!

I went to the dollar store, and the same thing was two for $1!!! I could have bought 14 of them for the price listed at the grocery.

BigLots is my favorite store.

I don't really like dollar stores, unless I'm
looking for funny "Engrish" packaging or
balloons.

I try not to go there too often, because I cannot resist all the bargains whether I need them or not.

Don't ever expect to go back and find anything there a second time--you gotta buy it at the time. That is the only downer about shopping there. If you can remember that and are ok with it you can find some GREAT bargains! I buy laundry detergent and cleaning stuff there a lot of the time.

I have a well-stocked pantry thanks to Big Lots! Flavored oils, capers, spices, you name it! I go about 3 times a week.

Even MallWart doesn't charge less than $8 a pair, so they were a real bargain. Made in China, of course, but even the pricey ones from the optometrist are these days. Since I only use them for threading needles or trying to read that itty bitty print on labels, they don't have to be made to order for me.

Don't buy lithium batteries, ever. Buy something at a Dollar Store that has one in it instead. You'll save a fortune.

to send to women's prisons so they can use them as journals.
I volunteer sending books into women's prisons. They send us their requests and we do our best to send in 3 titles as close as we can get to the requests.
Probably the most frequent request we get is for journals.
