What's the goofiest thing your pet has ever done?

I have a kitty that used to step on the speed dial button for 911 on my desk. After the cops showed up at my doorstep 3 times, I decided I could dial two extra buttons!

I had a wonderful Borzoi for 12 years. She was super smart. One day she watched me sorting out okra from the garden, then sidled up and stole one. After deciding it was not to her taste, she brought it back and laid it on the table again.

What's yours? Photos optional.

he found a little opening in the upstairs bath where I had the pipes open to work on.
He went in, and jumped through the opening hit the ceiling tiles and fell through to the kitchen.

We were in the kitchen when it happened.
He got up, acted like he meant to do it and walked off with pride.

he was our 1 year old rescue cat back then. And man is he ever curious.

Couple weeks later he got the catnip off of the top shelf of the kitchen cabinet, but fortunately he couldn't open the jar.
Then one day he turned on the water in the bath tub. Fortunately we had only been out about an hour.

He has mellowed out much since then

that pivots around in circles while going #2 with one leg in the air like he is peeing on a fire hydrant. Once finished ,he moon walks a few feet while kicking his hindquarter before jogging off to his next adventure.
He also jumps up on my chest and rolls over on his back with all fours in the air until i scratch under his legs front and back.

For some reason likes laying curled up in one of those hard plastic patio chairs. She barely fits in it, but she loves it.

6. My little Jack russel terries mix -I had her for 17 years, and I still miss her SO MUCH

well she'd get really excited when she saw us wearing something new, or saw us all dressed up.

When she saw my sister in her first communion gown, she was completely dazzled, her eyes looked like she was saying "Oh, that's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!". I know it sounds absurd and crazy, but honestly, it is true!

Another thing she did was whenever she drank something -water, milk- when she finished she'd start walking away and after a few steps, she'd walk back to the bowl, and take one more sip. Just one, and then she'd leave. She always, always did that.

Well, after 17 years I have lots of stories about her. I could go on, and on...

drop a kibble into her bowl of water, watch it sink to the bottom, then stick her face into the bowl to get the kibble. While she had her face in the water, she blew bubbles. Sometimes she skipped the kibble step and just stuck her face in the water and blew bubbles.

I miss my Fritty.

Will do 1 of 2 things
Reach high on wall with front paws
While arching her back and head backwards
And then trill her meow until she is noticed

Reach high on family room indoor shutters
Push them open
Then look through the opening
While trilling her meow

Has turned the hallway light on 2 times in his life. The switch is a push button, and for reason unknown to hoomans, jumping up and slapping the button @ zero dark 30 was/is a good idea. He did it again 2 weeks ago, it scares the bejesus out of me, suddenly the bedroom is lit up. I found him on the floor under the switch w/ catzoomie face& ears. That 🐱.

If one came into the yard, she'd bark at it, bite at it (the thing usually just pulled into its shell and waited her out, so she only got a mouthful of shell), paw at it, kick at it with her hind feet, then lay on it.....Finally she'd get bored with it, and walk off. But she sure gave it hell til then.

If I still had her today, I'd send her after McConnell.......

he could stand on his legs on the basement steps and open the door from the basement to the main floor of the house.

We used to put him and his brother in the family room/basement at night. First time I found him wandering the main house I thought I had forgotten to shut the basement door all the way. Then I found him again another morning.
We put him downstairs, closed the door, and watched him open it!

The door handles were knobs, too, not levers. He was an amazing kitty boy.

she was a food hound and a counter surfer.
one night we had been out and came home to find the kitchen floor covered in blood, broken glass, and dog footprints.

the idiot had knocked a jar of peanut butter off the counter, shattered the jar, but licked it clean anyway. had cuts all over her tongue, all over her face, all over her feet.

we used to say that she had a big heart, it just wasnt pumping enough blood to her brain.
