Neek, Sar and I decided to enjoy some of the sit-down shows they have at Universal Studios after finishing our fantastic lunch. The Special Effects show was both visually astounding and humorously done. There were a number of times they did a great job of incorporating volunteers from the audience into their demonstrations, like having someone dress in an astronaut outfit to show how they simulate space walking in movies. But they did not use a volunteer to demonstrate the fire walking; that was a highly trained professional and boy, is it scary to watch live!

(8,632 posts)We wanted to try it, but there was a HUGE line complete with security guard who said no more people would be allowed in after 5pm. It's extremely popular!

(3,165 posts)It cost about $200? back then, so its probably alot higher now...Do they still have the Terminator Movie?....
The Paramount and Warner Bros VIP tours are alot of fun to, but its all movie related things at those tours (sound stages, editing rooms, prop rooms, etc) as there are no rides there....

(8,632 posts)They replaced it with a Despicable Me ride, which is fun, but I preferred The Terminator.
I did a Warner Bros VIP tour about 20 years ago, but not Paramount. I really should do the Universal, but gonna have to save a lot of $$$. I think it might be close to $300 now.
