Bear stops by for brownies. No, seriously, hand over the damn brownies!!!

Let it have as many pieces as it wants! Judging by the tags in its ears, this animal is known to authorities.

A bear in Connecticut would not take no for an answer after showing up at a homeowner's back porch for fresh-baked brownies.

The unwanted ursine guest managed to rip off the screen door, but was unable to open the glass sliding door, even after climbing on to a porch handrail.

A neighbour who came into the house in the town of Avon and took these photos said it was "a harrowing experience".
Bill Belfiore said the black bear refused to be scared off.

"Though it looks cute on the railing, this bear was angry about not being able to get at the food," said Mr Belfiore.

when they wake up really, really hungry. It's why little old "don't want a gun around" me would get a shotgun if I lived outside the city.

Yes, it would be a warning shot first, especially with youngster like this one.

Here in town, it would just be a call to animal control. They get a lot of bear calls in spring and fall.

One of my OR nurses in RI had a bear knock over her trash cans and he dug through the trash like Yogi...he was'nt satisfied until he found some pecan pie. The video she took was hilarious.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]We have to kill them in their dens while they're still hibernating to save the brownies and screen doors! Maybe it would behoove whichever service is responsible to provide spring feeding stations out in what's left of their wilderness habitat. That way, any survivors of the hibernation hunt might not wander into town looking for food when they wake up.
