Any recs on B&Bs Atlantic Coast?

My friend and I are trying to plan a vacation to an Atlantic Beach, hopefully northern. We haven't decided which beach, or the dates. She hasn't gone on a vacation for several years, so I'm trying to keep that in mind. We've been friends for 60 years and have never vacationed together.

She is looking at high end B&Bs. I'm used to splitting a beach house with my family, so this vacation is going to cost a lot more than I am used to spending. Does anyone know of moderately priced B&Bs anywhere along the U.S. east coast? I just don't know if I can bring myself to spend $250.00/night for a bed.

If anyone has ideas for less-crowded beaches, that'd be great as well. I've been to OBX, Myrtle Beach for vacations, and Acadia and Ocean City for visits.

Thanks!

She and her family used to go every year. I've heard good things about Rehoboth. I'm in Ohio too.

It's much nicer than Ocean City. PM if you need recommendations. We vacationed here for 15 or so years before we moved last year.
