tonights obscure live track: Cat Stevens in 1968

I always thought this was more of his bubble gum stuff, but regardless its got some passion. Nowhere near as good as his 70's stuff and nothing even remotely like what he's done lately.

but honestly I never really liked "The First Cut is the Deepest" even though it was covered later by Rod Stewart, and I didn't care for that cover either. Compared to his later songs it just doesn't do anything for me. But thanks for the link to the video, it's interesting to see and hear him from that time period.
