I never let my bratty kid mishandled animals and I pissed off a few other parents by reprimanding their brats.

Btw, my adult offspring now loves animals as much as I do.

That's not safe for the kitten, and if the kitten gets frightened, or Momma gets upset, it's not all that safe for the toddler, either.

...than the human parents. Instead of filming it, the adult humans should have rescued the kitten from the toddler themselves.

A toddler should not hold an animal that small.

They can easily crush it without intending to.
