Uriah Heep Fans!

Got email from Mick Box last night!
He's doing well. I haven't heard from him in 3 or 4 years! (I never bother him)
He's coming to US to visit wife's family and she's from'round these parts
Can't wait to see him
Haven't see him in almost 25 years!!!

Mick had fallen off the stage the night before and broke his arm. He looked a little dazed but played flawlessly.

...since was NOT our thing, we refused to rehearse it
We'd just toss it in when it felt appropriate
4 part harmonies and sampled choirs and a big beefy Hammond sound
We treated it as a throwaway but it always killed!!!

I could change the Leslie speed with a foot pedal and could add grit with the mod wheel
I could go from Green Onions to Smoke on the Water with a flick of the wrist
I programmed all that before I had the Mac program, so that was 4 hours of work
It was worth it!
