i have a couple strings of little led lights that work on a battery timer thingy and they will turn themselves on at the time i turned them on the day before . is that "digital?"

digital. The package said it would automatically turn itself off after four hours. Said nothing about turning itself on 20 hours later. I suppose it could be a timer of some sort.

i could set a timer for it to go off after four hours
i was surprised they went on the next day without me turning them on

days are digital.
