Bush's Baked Beans Issues Voluntary Recall Notice

An administrative assistant at work turned me on to these. They are delicious. I had just started in on a can Saturday. Mine were older than the lots being recalled. Also, I'm typing this, so they couldn't have been too bad.

Anyway, here you go:

On July 22, 2017, we announced a voluntary recall of certain 28 ounce cans of BUSH’S® Brown Sugar Hickory Baked Beans, Country Style Baked Beans and Original Baked Beans due to potentially defective side seams on the cans. This recall was initiated after our internal quality assurance checks identified the issue. Subsequent investigations indicated a temporary quality issue from one of our can suppliers. The problem was corrected and no other product is affected.

Love those beans, and they're usually sold out here.

It seems everybody in Pittsburgh loves them, most stores can't keep them in stock.

The ones I'm eating now came off the scratch and dent shelf. I'm sure I paid 50 cents per 28-ounce can.
