We saw a tiny baby deer only once in our little pasture a couple weeks ago. He gambols on the wooded hillsides, no doubt, but this time he was obviously thrilled by being able to gallop around the wide open spaces. So much fun that even his parents caught his excitement and stopped grazing to jump and run around a bit too.
