Very nice.
I have a small collection of postcards of Russia from pre-revolution era. They are hand-tinted and similar in feeling to the photos you've linked to. Fascinating.

We've been trained to picture Soviet Russia as this drab, cheerless place, and the people bowed down by unendurable repression.
Nice to get a different perspective.
