The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsOK u beloved DU/Lounge CAT lovers, why ain't the feral orange cat killing *2* rats?!1
There's a canal half a block away. I looked up into a tree and thought it was a squirrel, but no it was a RAT, then another one!1
Where's this gigantic orange feral cat that is apparently the owner of the large excrement pieces?!1 (I wouldn't know what cat excrement looks like.)
'splain yourselves, you Vaunted Feline Adorers!1
**** But I digress. Once I was driving along a dirt road with scrub brush on the side and a cat emerged onto the road in front of me and had a HAPPY/blissful/self-congratulatory expression on its face because it clenched a rat in its mouth and the rat's tail dangled. But when my vehicle approached, the cat lost its bliss, like I was threatening to take its prize away. Just thought I'd add this.

I've seen it all before.
"Nice place ya got here. Shame if it got infested"
size matters in this case. I have an 8 lb female cat who is a stone killer. Full grown rats, no problem. In fact, the bigger the deader. Mice she often doesn't kill. Rats? Dead, and she'll lay them on the floor and jump on them repeatedly.
