BREAKING: 25 years later, Treach from Naughty By Nature no longer fully down with O.P.P.

Treach of Naughty by Nature performing at the 2012 Supafest in Sydney, Australia.

Los Angeles CA - Founding member of Naughty By Nature Anthony "Treach" Criss revealed to an Entertainment Weekly reporter that, while he was fully down with O.P.P. in 1992 upon the release of his band's Grammy-nominated single "O.P.P.," the quarter-century that has followed has given him time to reflect on this "hot button" issue.

"Look," Criss told reporters, "I'm 46 now, I was 22 then. I could be my own dad, if I had a time machine, right? You just get to the point in life where you have to set priorities, where being down with O.P.P. might have a spot on your list that day, or ten other things are demanding your attention, and you think "You know what, maybe I'm not down for being down with that today." That's what happens when you get to my age."

Right Said Fred frontman Richard Fairbrass was sitting at a nearby table in the restaurant where Treach was being interviewed by E.W., telling the reporter "But, on the other hand, I am STILL too sexy for my shirt." When informed that he was not being interviewed, Fairbrass replied "Yeah...but you're still gonna print it, ain't ya?"

I'm so old, I have no idea what O.P.P. is. I'm not sure I want to know though. n/t NNadir Oct 2017 #1

By the way, Sir Mix-a-Lot is still in favor of big butts. I heard a recent interview where he confirmed this enthusiastically.
