A quick search finds lots of info on kudzu in AL — over a quarter million acres. Don’t know what to think of the source in OP.

I didn't realize that until y'all pointed it out. No question about that Alabama is covered with it. Maybe it was Russians that put that map out there.

I have to have it hacked back from my yard every year, and it is all over town, county, state.
did you know the purple flowers smell exactly like Welch's grape jam? they actually make jam from the flowers here. Blossoms look like wisteria flowers.

It's gobbled up everything south of the Mason-Dixon line, so it had to move north. Just pray it doesn't bring the fire ants with it!
