4. Fannie Mae is not to be blamed for the mortgage crisis.

It may be partially responsible, but

the mortgage companies and banks that directly sold the mortgages to homebuyers and homeowners,

the banks and investment firms that sold derivatives based on the worthless mortgages the mortgage companies and banks sold to buyers and owners

and the appraisers at the local level and the ratings agencies at a higher level are responsible.

The OP assumes facts not in evidence and should be denied admission to the DU discussion board.

With all due respect...
My purpose is to post the emails I get from conservatard friends and get assistance in refuting them. I think you may have this confused with posting in GD or something.
"Denied Admission" gets my blood boiling, no information should ever be denied admission anywhere, ever.

The whole purpose is to post pieces of crap here and then get refutatiuons.
