UNITE HERE Wins Contract at Ramada MOA

At the Minnesota AFL-CIO convention last week, UNITE HERE Local 17 handed out a flyer and Secretary-Treasurer Steve Hunter talked about the problem they were having getting a contract at the Ramada MOA (former Thunderbird hotel). They received a call from the owner 30 minutes after it was talked about on Tuesday morning and today they are happy to announce a settlement pending ratification on Wednesday They have agreed to the same 5 year agreement the rest of our Union Hotels have accepted. The members of Local 17 want to thank all the Union members who made calls and let them know they can stop calling now and book their business there.
