As is Podemos in Spain.

Although not historically surprising, it always brings a puzzled look to my brow when these hard left reformist parties gain clout with hard left rhetoric, then when they DO bring people around to their way of thinking and start getting a lot of support, they back off and begin accommodation to capitalism.

But then, that IS the nature of reformism. I suppose people have to go through reforms that WILL NOT WORK before they come to the inescapable conclusion that it's CAPITALISM that's the problem and the problem cannot be reformed, but must be smashed.

but it follows logically that folks would of course try to reform their current system. But he was operating in the late 1800s. I don't know how much more "reform" we can take.
