Superb job in rendering the hair -- that's always tough, especially with watercolor.

Here's a few of my pup pics. Never shared any art here before. They're rather old and I'm always embarrassed to post what I consider personal stuff on DU. Haven't painted for years now.

Second: Embarrassed? Your work is wonderful!!! You should be sharing it with everyone.

In all honesty, I do know how you feel. I'm 70, and it has only been the last 15 years that I've felt confident enough to show other people my passion. Once I did, people began buying without me putting anything up for sale. I'd bet money they'd buy your work too.

Please start painting again. If you don't owe it to the world, you definitely owe it to yourself. Don't keep that passion bottled up.

I tried mixing media and didn't do too well. It seems like it would be a challenge combining 3 different types without running into some blending side effects.
