Ive been playing around with soft pastels about seven or eight years now. I can see where I got better with each year. Im hoping in another few years I might be ready to try selling some of my paintings.

(53,410 posts)Your pastels are all so good! I love them. You capture nature so well. I like the frothiness of the grass and the contrast with the trees. The picture looks like a magical meadow during a full moon. Just enough light to soften everything. I can almost hear the calling of the frogs and the chirping of crickets.
This is a wonderful depiction of the subtleties of night colors. Your textures are wonderful too in this moonscape. And it works just as well as a dayscape!
