I’m very grateful about that particular thing about your ongoing search for subjects to paint. Your artist’s eye finds visual gems everywhere and then you share them with us in your enterpretations.

I know that ability might feel like a curse sometimes, but for the rest of us it’s a great gift. I like that you’re drawn to paint things because you find them interesting, and not just beautiful. It makes us viewers extra aware of the elements of your work.

Painting really opens up your eyes. There's are literally paintings everywhere. You just have to learn how to look.
