Who's watching the Oscars?

I am thoroughly enjoying the Oscars this year! Dresses beautiful and classic! Jewelry subdued and tasteful! Thank you's not too long and so heartfelt! Ellen is terrific - funny, jostling with the audience, but not insulting anyone, just goofy enough, passing out pizza to the audience, taking pictures of herself with various actors and sending to tweet! The presenters seem more relaxed, not as nervous and stilted as some years.

Many touching moments: Darlene Love belting out His Eye is on the Sparrow and getting a standing O. The movie she was in got best documentary and was about backup singers.

The presentation of the In Memoriam section, and Bette Midler came out and sang You Are The Wind Beneath my Wings, and she got a standing ovation. I believe she was in tears at the end of her song.

Sydney Poitier came out with Jennifer Garner to announce Best Director, and Mr. Poitier got a standing ovation for being a great actor.

Seeing all three of Judy Garland's children stand up and take a bow.
Pink sang Over the Rainbow in honor of the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. She got a standing ovation.

Fashion critic time: I loved Jim Carrey's blue silk suit jacket.
Sharp Dressed Man as ZZ Top would say. Didn't see any really horrible looking dresses.
