(11,464 posts)Mitchum and Garfield both underrated
Thankfully TCM never forgets.
He makes anything he is in great.
And the Way We Were.
Always wished they did a sequel. Most likely shall never happen now.
Maybe a mixture of the Way we Were and the Candidate.

(16,968 posts)I'll admit I didn't become a fan until TCM ran The John Garfield Story a decade ago. He really was electrifying on screen, and a great many actors stood/stand on his shoulders.

(3,510 posts)The Grass is Greener with Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr, Robert Mitchum, & Jean Simmons? That would totally fit into tonight's lineup. Superb acting, witty & sparkling dialogue. Hilarious! I think I have seen it twice in all these years on TCM.

(16,968 posts)...then they have come through for you.
That said, you can always go on the TCM site and suggest they bring the movie into heavier rotation. I also recall there used to be an alert system as well for upcoming airings. Of course you'll have to create a TCM membership (free) to gain access to forums and other website features.
