My friend is the mother of an 18 year old violinist who the world will hear from one day.
She wrote this to me in a discussion of Henryk Szeryng.
"I think a great artist should dedicate his affection and life to music so that we can find out some truth of the universe and human through his or her given music. and It can barely be seen nowadays."
