It's a terrific piece that doesn't get as much attention as #2.

How's your weekend, elleng?

a FABULOUS piece. SOMETHING about Rach REALLY gets to me; just checked, his birthday: April 1, 1873. AND Johann Sebastian BACH: March 31, 1685.

Weekend started slowly; will walk around, after Rach. 3 finishes.

Y'all OK? ONE of 'my' osprey may have been delayed arriving here due to southern storms.

We're at the Landlady(!)'s house on Ocracoke Island in the OBX. We've got a lot of repairs and cleaning to do before the rental season begins April 1st. I just accomplished a first for me: I replaced a bathroom floor, then the vanity, then replaced the plumbing (a bane of my existence), and then finished with all new towel racks, etc.

It's been cold, damp and very windy with gusts up to 50 mph. Still, it's a beautiful place. Next on my to-do list is to paint the two bedrooms. Fun!

I'm a decent carpenter, electrician, painter and groundskeeper but plumbing has always given me headaches. That's probably because I've mostly lived in older homes with decrepit piping. Whenever I've tried fixing something, another thing would break or leak and then I'd have to call a pro.

Meanwhile, I just discovered that the new bathroom sink has a small drip in the joint after the trap. More fun!

Have a great week!
